Purpose of This Site
North Carolina law makes categories of arrest information public, but that information is divided among several custodians. The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office creates county booking records and operates the Duplin County Detention Center. Its Inmate Search page leads to Citizen Connect for current confinements and recent admissions. The North Carolina Judicial Branch holds the later court record, while the NCDAC offender search covers people in state prison or under state supervision. This site organizes those official paths and explains when a direct records request may be needed. It publishes no roster or mugshot collection of its own.
