Custody and Records Contacts
The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office is the starting point for county booking records. The Sheriff operates around the clock, while regular county business hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Use the detention line for current county custody. Ask the main office for the records custodian when requesting a booking or arrest record. Formal requests are not accepted by telephone, though a call can identify the correct submission route.
- For a booking entry or photograph, begin with the recent arrests and roster path, then contact the Sheriff if the item is missing.
- For today’s admissions or a rolling report, use Arrested Today or Arrest Reports.
- For release alerts, use VINE Arrest Check or call detention for current status.
- For a court disposition or certified copy, contact the Duplin Clerk of Superior Court at 910-275-7000.
- For a sentenced state prisoner or person under state supervision, use the NCDAC offender search or call NCDAC at 919-733-2126.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the appropriate BOP or ICE locator linked from the home page. Those systems do not replace the county roster.
